About The Doctor
Srdjan Prodanovich, M.D., graduated from medical school at the University of Miami School of Medicine (UMSM) in 2002.
After successfully completing internship in Internal Medicine at UMSM and Jackson Memorial Hospital, Dr. Prodanovich
received his Dermatology specialty training at one of the most prestigious national dermatology departments: the
Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the UMSM.
Currently, he continues
his love of teaching at the department as a voluntary faculty member.
Dr. Prodanovich has written a dermatology textbook for the UMSM medical students, published numerous papers in the peer reviewed national journals and has given lectures in national meetings, and actively continues to participate in clinical research trials. He has received many awards throughout his dermatology residency including:
- The George Ioannides Award in Recognition of Excellence in Resident Dermatology Teaching
- The Dermatology Foundation of South Florida Research Excellence Award in Recognition of Excellence in Dermatology Research
- The Kenneth Halprin, M.D. Dermatology Journal Club Award
- The Miami Dermatological Society and University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Department of Dermatology and Cutaneus Surgery 1st Place Resident's Day Award
- Outstanding Contribution to Medical Student Teaching, The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery 2003-2004 and 2004-2005.
- In addition, he was awarded Certificate of Appreciation for the First Civilian Teledermatology Service from the Great Plains Medical Command, Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center, United States Army Medical Department.
